Virtual Reality
Donald Duck's Birthday
This group project was built through Unity in C# coding with testing done using an Oculus Quest 2 headset. This immersive experience centers around recreating the very first short film premiere of The Wise little Hen featuring Donald Duck. Viewers get to watch the summarized re-telling of this short film and experience it in Virtual Reality. I came up with the idea for this project based on the assignment we were given to choose any theme based on a specific date that we were given. In collaboration with my peers, I was also able to work on the digital art assets, Unity testing, and animation/coding aspects of the project.
Year 2069
This is a virtual reality project where the year is 2069 and the world is in a state of chaos. The user of the experience wakes up in an abandoned shack in Baltimore, Maryland and discovers several items/clues as to what has happened to the state of the world. I worked on majority of both the developmental coding and digital assets on this project in Unity/Blender. Website link: https://fizamulla123.wixsite.com/year2069
Augmented Reality

SuperstAR
SuperstAR is an immersive and thrilling Augmented Reality experience combining various genres of music, interactive clues, and captivating aesthetics. The users of the experience embark on a quest through musical genre-themed rooms to collect different instruments by deciphering hidden clues and playing interactive games. I worked on the components of the physical and digital asset elements (Procreate) as well as testing the development (Unity). I also initially brainstormed the idea of the project and worked through the drafting process of finalizing the concept/theme/layout of the AR experience.
We were selected to showcase our project in the Fall at the 2023 Next Now Arts Festival and had a turnout of over 100 attendees experiencing our project.
Save The Turtles
The Life Of Sea Turtles is an augmented reality project that redesigns a public space, the Brendan Iribe Rooftop in the Computer Science building at the University of Maryland , into an environment that displays the life of sea turtles and the obstacles they face in their struggle to survive as a species. This group project was built through Unity in C# coding with testing done using a Samsung Galaxy tablet with a poster designed through Adobe Illustrator as the target image trigger for the AR experience. I worked on the components of designing/configuring the 3d sprites in Unity as well as testing the environment using the tablet.
