Worked on an individual project involving API development and debugging where the API specifically was involved in storing pathology and radiology summaries on the operative/procedure reports tab.
Worked with several applications such as Visual Studio, mySQL, and postman to access the code, database, and call the endpoint .
Worked with a team of software developers in an agile methodology approach with daily scrum meetings, user stories, and a JIRA ticketing system.

Jan '22- Feb '22 Cloudforce Intern

Worked with a team of interns to create a solution during the 3-week timeline for the company's snack inventory.
Created and set up a prototype with cameras using Computer vision (Microsoft Azure Cloud) to track employees’ snacks
Tracked and updated the data to create an automated inventory via Microsoft Teams
Presented our final project/prototype to the Cloudforce team

Created training for designated branch leadership to utilize website functionality
Assisted with updating the user interface and customization of website navigation and user flow
Created custom tagged content and newsletter pages for ease of use by staff and for a better user experience in an efficient manner within the custom Content Management System software

Jun '19- Aug '19 iSolvers Intern

Worked alongside a team of college interns to integrate an open source discussion forum software with the company’s proprietary back end system
Assisted with the creative user interface design and customization
Developed and configured CSS and HTML code
Provided feedback on the UX as an end user/admin as well as created documentation to host the software on a custom cloud

Collaborating with students at UNT to help create an interactive immersive experience using projection that conveys data and information from NASA's new PACE program

2021 Kesina Baral, Jeff Offutt, Fiza Mulla. Self determination: A comprehensive strategy for making automated tests more effective and efficient IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation, April 2021

Had the opportunity to work on a JAVA project with the Director and Professor of Software Engineering at GMU and a PhD computer engineering student.
Project consisted of creating test automation software in JAVA using JUnit testing
Built automated test cases in JUnit such that these test cases would also be able to be leveraged for future projects.
Co-authored the final publication which was accepted at the 2021 IEEE international conference on Software Testing, Verification, and Validation.

UMD WMUC Drop the Pop Radio Show Host/Reporter:

Researched and wrote stories/discussion questions on the week’s pop-culture news
Participated and facilitated live discussions/coverage of relevant pop-culture topics

UMD Student Government Association Legislative Branch Representative:

Representing and serving the off-campus outlying student community by advocating for initiatives to support these students
Wrote and worked on additional University-related initiatives/projects and pieces of legislation where I researched and interviewed/reached out to related faculty/students/organizations

NonProfit Organization, The Kindness Project Co-Founder:

Started a non-profit organization from scratch, called “The Kindness Project” with another student. We planned and executed events that are a safe space for teens to learn, contribute to the community, and earn volunteer hours.
Hosted several events to include more than 100 volunteers from over 10 local schools.
Featured in articles published in in The South Riding Magazine and the Marconi Kid Loudoun Newsletter
Competed in the Step Up Loudoun Youth 2018 Competition and became the top 10 finalists out of 80+ teams and won a cash prize of $250
